Have you ever felt awkward when someone is looking at your laptop screen while doing work or working on the spreadsheets? HP the multinational IT Company has unveiled new technology called HP Sure View technology with the latest option on the HP EliteBook 1040 and HP EliteBook 840 laptops. This technology helps in preventing the shoulder surfing with the press of a single button.
HP is now partnered with the 3M Privacy technology for HP Sure View. To enable this feature, the user needs to press the F2 Key for immediately transition the PC to the privacy mode. This reduces up to 95% of the visible light when viewed at the angle makes difficult for the others to view the information on the screen.
HP Sure View will be now available from the month of September as the option on two latest HP laptop models HP EliteBook 1040 Full HD touch and non-touch variants and the HP EliteBook 840 laptops.

Steps to activate the Privacy Mode
HP has made this pretty easy to activate the privacy mode. The user has to hit FN+F2 for turning ON and OFF. This will work quickly and seamlessly, and a demo has been shown by the HP which is easy to swap the modes. The contents on the screen have now blacked out once it was more than 10 degrees away.
The price of these laptops has to be still determined and on some higher-end configurations of the 840 and 1040 notebooks, ranging at $1,249 and $1,449 respectively.
