In an event held by Google, the search engine pioneer will be announcing the launch of new flagship smartphones. Replacing Nexus series, the company is expected to bring a new series named after “Pixel.”
Along with smartphones, tablet and other gadgets related to VR and a headset. There is also a mobile app expected for launch at the event. Overall, San Francisco show will witness the combination of hardware and software new releases by Google.
Coming to the Smartphones, the company is announcing the launch of two models Pixel and Pixel XL. Both the smartphones will be placed with the latest Android Nougat v7.1 OS. HTC manufactures the headsets.
A 7-inch tablet made by Huawei might also be another gadget that will find a place side by the smartphone with Android version.
A messaging app “Allo” will feature as the software new entry at the launching dais. Supporting headphones are also expected to get a glimpse of the same event. The much-awaited headphones “Chromecast Ultra” with the latest phones compatibility might also be launched. This new VR headset is the Daydream – compatibility devices for connecting.
WiFi router device OnHub will be upgraded and released as “Google W-Fi.” Both Android Police and Droid Life say that the device will have advanced features.
The only missing product is Smartwatches at this launch. But the electronics industry assumes that Google might have kept the launch in pending as its competitors are launching the smart watches in the next year. Hence, Google’s Android Wear 2.0 can expect at this time.
The interesting part of all these is that the company has not yet officially announced any of the devices features or specifications. Google is also tight-lipped on the prices range that these devices are going to be launch.
