Facebook Bug ‘KILLS’ Mark

Facebook has come across the terrible bug, resulting it accidentally declared its founder Mark Zuckerberg and many other users dead on Friday. Acknowledging after fixing the serious issue which committed the ‘terrible error’.

One of the spokesperson from Facebook told “For a brief period today, a message meant for memorialized profiles was mistakenly posted to other accounts,” “This was a terrible error that we have now fixed.” “We are very sorry that this happened.”

This unusual bug on famous social network website, Facebook has labelled many people as dead. This led the users on Facebook worry about their Family members, Friends, Colleagues and more who were effected with this bug. This error on Friday showed the memorial banner on the user profiles to the people who were still alive.

The users have posted the status updates for guaranteeing friends and family were not dead, despite of the Facebook’s message.

This message is appeared on several profiles and the profile pages in the large number including the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg.

The message observed on the Mark profile “We hope people who love Mark will find comfort in the things others share to remember and celebrate his life.” This is showed up right over the profile.

The Memorial feature was introduced by Facebook in the year 2015. This is the sensitive feature and number of high-profile cases, where family wanted to access the social accounts of the deceased loved ones.

The user has to opt in their account for turning into the memorial page upon the death. Here they can leave the message and share the memories to their Facebook contacts. There is also an alternative option to have your account deleted after your death.
