Chinese smartphone maker Cubot is well known for launching budget-level smartphones in a decent pricing. The brand has recently announced a new smartphone Cubot Manito with effective specifications. Cubot mobile and Cheetah Mobile united and unveiled their first smartphone Cubot Cheetah early this year. Now, its successor Cubot Cheetah 2 announced which Cubot is manufacturing Hardware section, and Cheetah Mobile is handling on software.

Cubot cheetah 2 features a 5.5-inch IPS FHD screen with 401PPI of pixel density and 16M colors. The device comes with a 2.5D curved screen on the front and a fingerprint sensor is adjusted in the home button. The device is powered by a 1.3Ghz MediaTek MT6735 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU. 3GB RAM is provided with 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to a maximum of 256 GB with the provided microSD card.

Cubot Cheetah 2 is a dual SIM mobile with Dual standby and also supports 4G LTE network. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG support, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. The handset also offers wide sensor ranges which include Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer Sensor, Distance Sensor, Compass Sensor G-Sensor and Gyroscope Sensor.

On camera font, the device packs a 13MP primary camera of f/2.0 aperture with 0.5Ax2 LED flashlights. Another 8 MP camera with Sony IMX219 and intelligent beauty feature is adjusted on the front panel for selfies.

The device measures dimensions of 153.6 x 75 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 188 grams.  The Cubot Cheetah 2 smartphone is available in Blue and Gold color variants with a price tag of $187.49. The device is only available in China, and there is no information regarding the launch of the phone in the global market as of now.
