BSNL announced a new offer to counter Reliance Jio. The state-run telco has introduced a new data plan STV 498 which offers unlimited 3G data without any data limit for 14 days. This promotional offer from BSNL is available until 7th January for both existing and new subscribers across India. With this unlimited 3G data offer, BSNL is targeting the 4G LTE offerings in the country.
Reports say that the new Rs 498 plan offers unlimited 3G data but is limited only for 14 days. The duration counts effectively from the date of recharge. It is estimated that this scheme is a promotional offering from the Telco.
