Yes, the company on Thursday announced that it had introduced a new facility called Cash@Home which brings you a cash of Rs 2000 to your home.

How Snapdeal Cash@Home Works?

It is very simple. Users can download and install the App on your device. If you put a request, then it uses your location data to check if there is cash available in your area. If the money is available, then you can get a push notification and an SMS notification from Snapdeal which takes you to the Order page.

The only thing you must have to do is to pay a convenience fee of Rs 1 through FreeCharge or using your bank debit card. Snapdeal is not the first company to introduce cash to home service. Recently the company named Tailmill, a Noida-based company has started to offer home delivery of cash up to Rs 1000 in partnership with flour seller TWF flours.Like Snapdeal, Tailmill was also re-circulating the cash it collected through COD offers.

Demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes not only affected ordinary people but also hits the popular e-commerce websites Flipkart, Amazon, and Snapdeal. After the announcement of the ban of old 500 and 1000 notes, leading online shopping portals stopped COD orders especially Amazon stopped COD option while Flipkart and Snapdeal have limited orders to Rs. 2000 only.

Now, nearly after nine days, Amazon had enabled Cash on Delivery (COD). If you want to buy someone and click on the COD option, then you will get a message like this “We accept all valid notes, including newly launched Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes.
