Super Mario Run for Android Released: All you need to know about your favorite childhood game

Nintendo has finally unveiled Super Mario Run for Android users after prolonged pre-registration. This nostalgia video game was rolled out to mobile users across the iOS platform last year. The users have experienced the Super Mario Run on their iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Now, the game is going to be available on Android Platform as well starting this March 23.

Nintendo of America has tweeted about the launch date of Super Mario Run for Android. The popular game comes with version 2.0.0 update teases few new features. The update allows unlocking world 1-4 in the free version by completing a challenge and also allow playing as new characters. Nintendo has opened pre-registration for Super Mario Run page on Google Play since early December.

“For us, we view our software as being a very important asset. For consumers who are purchasing the game, we want to make sure that we’re able to offer it to them in a way that the software is secure, and that they’re able to play it in a stable environment,” says, Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Run creator.

The company explains about the delay for launching the game on Android Platform is to do with privacy. Whereas, iOS is a platform where there is nothing much to worry about the security. Super Mario Run launched on iOS made huge earning over $50 million as of now. Now, expanding the game for Android platform could make more revenue considering the Super Mario fan base.

To play the game, users require an active internet connection. It isn’t free game, and you only have access to few levels if you play for free. However, the company will charge to enjoy all the levels of the game.

Unlike the Traditional Mario Game that can only played with two hands the new Mario game can be play with one hand. The Cute Mario can be controlled by tapping as he constantly runs forward. After Pokemon GO, another beloved classic gaming character Super Mario to roll out on App Store later this year. This iconic character is said to be launched by Nintendo as Super Mario run on iPhone screens first. Apple’s chief executive Tim Cook shared stage along with Shigeru Miyamoto at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco to announce this upcoming game. It is reported that Nintendo is planning to launch the game on Android as well once after its get launch in App store.

Japan-based video game developer Shigero Miyamoto better known as the father of Mario announced that the company would launch this mobile game ‘Super Mario Run‘ on App Store in this holiday season. Based on the classic Super Mario Bro’s, this new ‘Super Mario Run’ allows users to play with a single hand due to its unending running style.

“The magic of Mario is anyone can pick up and start playing, and now we’ve made it even easier. It is reportedly announced that the game would be launched on the iOS platform first and later on Android devices. The game has been already listed in App Store for free. However, the download is not available in any region.  A notify button appears on App store which updates the information to the user about the availability of app in their region.

A brand new game of Pokemon called “Pokemon go”, an augmented version of the favourite video game is all set to release in the month of July. It comes along with a wearable device called ‘Pokemon Go Plus’.

During the E3 live stream of the game publisher, Nintendo said that they were making the new ‘Pokemon Go’ game in collaboration with Niantic Labs.

In the Live Q&A streaming, famous video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto released some details about the augmented reality mobile game Pokemon Go. He also said the hardware is just an optional device for game.

The executives of the companies who were developing the application of the game had shown their wrist-worn wearable, which works on Bluetooth for finding the Pokemon without the need of a smartphone in hand.

The device starts working by flashing green light and would eventually vibrate signalling the player whenever the Pokemon are close to the player.

The wearable will display a rainbow colour light when the character is caught and red colour light if it is not captured. They also said that the hardware device which will also be released along with the game would cost around $35. It will be available for both IOS and Android by the end of July
