Many smartphone manufacturers made their presence at the MWC 2017 to showcase their products. The South Korean company Samsung is on the list of presenting their amazing products at the event. The company showcased Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablet, Galaxy Book, Galaxy Gear VR and Galaxy 8 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

In addition to this, Samsung also announced the official release date of its next flagship model Samsung Galaxy 8. The company held a separate event in Barcelona on 27th February where various tech personalities and mainstream journalists around the world attended. Samsung announced the news about Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablet, two foldable notebooks, a Samsung S Pen and the new Samsung Galaxy Gear VR controller.

The electronics giant showcased their new Samsung Galaxy S3 Tablet which sports a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED 2K HD display with a screen resolution of 2048×536 pixels. Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet powered by a 2.15 + 1.6GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM. The tablet packed with internal storage of 32GB and expanded up to 256GB using microSD card.

In the optics department, Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet equipped with 13megapixel with LED flash and on the front, it bears 5megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calling. The smart tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with a battery capacity of 6000mAh which can offer up to 10.5 runtime of charging. The Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet also bundled with S pen for home and office purpose.

Along with the company mentioned about Samsung S Pen which specially designed for natural writing experience. The new Staedler-collaborated S Pen features a smaller 0.7nm tip and comes with increased pressure sensitivity. Samsung S Pen also includes most convenient features namely, Screen Off Memo for dot down notes quickly. A PDF Annotation with editing and advanced drawing tool for professional level drawing. It will be available for a free of cost with Books and Tablet.

For the virtual lovers, the company comes with Samsung Galaxy Gear VR. The new device sports bundled remote controller which works with smartphone and depends on accelerometer and gyro for the movements on screen. The Samsung Galaxy Gear VR packs with 1000mAh battery, and it works based on home, back, touchscreen and volume keys.

The Korean giant also announced its new two laptops, i.e., Samsung Galaxy Book would launch with two versions which are available in 10.6-inch and 12-inch models. The 10.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Book sports TFT LCD full HD display, and the other 12-inch model bears 2K Super AMOLED display. In terms of Chipset, both the models powered by 7th Generation Intel Core i5 processor and clubbed with 4GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy Book boosted up with extra 64GB/128GB internal storage respectively which can further expandable up to 256GB. For the optics section, the 10.6-icnh Galaxy Book packs with 5 megapixel front camera and the 12-incher bears 13megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front-facing camera. However, the company doesn’t make any announcement regarding price list of the models.

Samsung Galaxy Book of both the models comes with additional connectivity options such as two USB Type-C ports, WiFi ac and also LTE support. Both the books powered by Windows 10 and packed with a battery which aims to provide 10.5 hours run time. These are perfect for those who are looking for a compact laptop like usage of the tablet.

Apart from these, the company unveiled its end-to-end portfolio of 5G mobile network products. It includes consumer devices for fixed wireless access connectivity, Next-generation Core Network, a 5G Radio Base Station and much more. It also showcased the 5G RFIC and ASIC modern chipsets for 5G network infrastructure. Finally, the Korean company announced the official launch date of Samsung Galaxy 8 at an event held in New York on 29th March 2017.
