Asus launched ZenFone 3 Max in the launch event Held on Wednesday at New Delhi. The Company has launched other smartphones in series back in August. And now ZenFone 3 Max is out in two variants in India, the 5.5-inch display version (ZC553KL) with a Qualcomm processor and the 5.2-inch screen version (ZC520TL) with a MediaTek processor.

Discussing the specs, Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is a dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own ZenUI 3.0 skin on top. It features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

The device sports a rear camera of 16-megapixel with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash. Another 8-megapixel front facing sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and an 84-degree wide-angle lens is adjusted on the front for selfies. Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) packs an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded up to a maximum of 128GB  through the provide microSD card slot. The device measures 151.4×76.24×8.3mm in dimensions and weigh about 175.00 grams.

On connectivity department, ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) include all latest connectivity options like GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, OTG, FM, 3G, and 4G. Adding to this, sensors on the phone include an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.

Coming to Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL), it features almost similar specs of its elder sibling in most cases. The dual SIM smartphone bears 5.2-inch HD display of 720×1280 pixels and is powered by a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM. Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) packs a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options are almost same and measures a dimensions of 149.5 x 73.7 x 8.55mm and weighs about 148 grams.

ZenFone 3 Max comes with a massive 4100mAh battery in both the variants which also doubles up as a power bank. The battery delivers to 38 days of 4G standby time, and up to 17 hours of 3G talk time on ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL). While the same battery on 5.2-inch Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) will give a 30 days of 4G standby time, and 20 hours of 3G talk time. Availability and pricing in India details are unknown at the moment.
