LG Electronics officially to announce a new Smartphone namely V20. After its successor LG V10, the company revealed a little more. LG V20 is going to be the first Smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat.
Users who seek for the official release date of Android Nougat seem that the next OS version will release in either August or September. LG Electronics CEO MC Business division Jo Junho President said “V20 will be a new standard Smartphone among the premium phones which is enhanced with multimedia capabilities.
The operating system for V20 will be equipped with Android 7.0 (Nougat) which will get launch in September. Last year October LG launched V10 with best multimedia experience and later after one year V20 will be a premium flagship Smartphone.
V10 is the first phone to built with Hi-Fi 32 bit DAC (Digital to Analog Convertor) with excellent sound quality.
LG Electronics CEO MC Business Division Jo-Jun-ho president said, “V20 is expected to set new standards in the premium phone in a more expanded multimedia capabilities.” he said.
Allwinner, a very famous Chinese Company and tough competitor in the market of budget devices have now lined up a Laptop with jaw dropping price. This is for the first time the company is stepping into the field of Laptops. The company which manufactured devices like Android TV sticks and gaming tablets till date, now turn up with the view to capitalize on OS which has come up with a laptop worth $79. Remix OS, a powerful and popularly known desktop OS for android powered PCs and Tablets, is now going to be the operating system for the affordable Allwinner laptops with Jide’s interesting fusion of Android, Windows and Chrome OS.
The company announces that the price of the all new laptop ranges $79 to $99 which runs on Remix OS 2.0. The features of the world’s first cheapest laptop Allwinner basic model is apparently all plastic body with the 11.6-inch LCD screen with 1366 x 768 resolution with a front-faced webcam. This model comes with a 64-bit kit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of storage for apps, games, movies, music and other files. Well, the battery life is not yet clear, but keeping price and specification in mind experts assume it would be of 3-6 hours of battery life.
Variant model is also available with 2GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of storage which includes a larger display of 14.1-inch and same resolution of 11.6-inch device with a hike in the price up to $99. The unique specifications include Port wise HDMI, two USBs, a micro SD slot, and a headphone jack. So, there is no chance of users getting irritated with one USB and a connector for your ear buds. The company has also announced a 2-in-1 Laptop which includes an octra-core 32-bit chip.
The prices for the given models by the company are tentative and it seems like the $79 price is only available when ordered or purchased in bulk. So, these laptops can fulfil the digital class room need in various educational institutions and cost effective business purpose devices. Well, the Allwinner Company is waiting fingers crossed to check the response or enthusiasm of the users to buy the product which is the only way to bring the product into the light.
Good news for Mac and Windows users as Social networking application WhatsApp had launched its desktop client. It will be available for download at the official website of the company. The Facebook-owned Application is extending its base at a good pace by releasing continuous updates.
Last year it had launched the voice call feature which received a positive response from all the users around the globe. There are speculations that the instant messaging service would be starting the video calling option and testing the same on the beta version of iPhone.
WhatsApp announced that their active users’ number rocketed from 700 million to 1 billion within one year. The messaging service also introduced end-to-end encryption which would secure the data exchanged between the users. No third party application, even WhatsApp can’t access or track the data such as messages, calls, videos and images.
Brian Acton, the founder of WhatsApp, opined that “building secure products makes for a safer world.”The inclusion of this security feature is also tempting others and it can be a huge selling point for the service.
The new desktop App would be featuring new options including all the current characteristics of the mobile client. For Mac users, it can be the best substitute to message for communicating with users of other platforms. Even though OS X is providing a text message forwarding service for communication with non-I Message users but a centralized service would be a better option.
The instant messaging service mobile version is available for IOS, Android and Windows users. The new web client of WhatsApp is available for both Mac’s OS X and Windows at the official website. After downloading the client on your desktop platform, synchronize it with the mobile app by the scanning the QR code on the desktop. This will enable the user to use the social networking application from the PC itself.
Microsoft had launched Windows 10, updated version of Operating system worldwide on 29 July 2015. The Company had announced that all the existing valid Windows users would be receiving the newer version at free of cost.
The latest edition of the operating system features some exciting features which include virtual digital assistant Cortana and Internet Explorer revamped as Microsoft Edge. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that Windows 10 had reached 270 million users at company’s annual developer conference Build 2016 event on 31st March 2016.Now according to an official blog release of Windows the number had jumped to 300 million.

As announced earlier the free upgrade for Windows 7 & 8.1 users to Windows 10 would end on 29th July and it will cost $119 for the same from the next day.
