Hike Messenger to get UPI-Based Interface to Enable Digital payments

Recently, WhatsApp rumored to integrate UPI-based payments service within the application itself. Now, India’s hike messenger is also up with an idea of UPI-based digital payments service on Hike. Reports say that Hike messenger is planning to integrate with an Indian bank to provide necessary back-end system required.

Hike hinted its plan to enter the digital payments system back in November. This UPI-based digital payments service allows making payments or purchase apps right from the application itself. The model is same like WhatsApp business making use of UPI for transactions.

As per reports, the hike may roll out the feature in the next few months. On the other hand, WhatsApp claimed the launch of service in its app would be in next six months. Hike would become India’s first messaging app to come with digital payment feature if its launches ahead of WhatApp.

In addition to this, Hike will also become the India’s largest UPI-based platform as it already has more than 100 million users of which 90 percent are from India. However, there are few apps like BHIM, PhonePe, and others, but none can beat Hike’s user base.

Furthermore, Hike digital payment services might remove the fuss of adding the beneficiary to send the money. Above all, UPI is backed by Government of India.

Hike messenger has crossed a milestone of 100 million users in India. Its rival WhatsApp notes 200 million users in India. Besides these, Hike Messenger also offers some more interesting features like Hike Direct, Stickers, etc.

Essentially, this Paytm food Wallet replaces the bulky physical coupons and makes the transactions digital. You can make use of this at KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Cafe Coffee Day, Zomato and Big Bazaar among others. Besides this, the food wallet also offers some exclusive discounts, offers, and cashbacks as well. Paytm claims that they have partnered with many outlets across the country to serve better with the food wallet.

Reliance Jio Users can Instantly Transfer Money Through JioChat

Upon announcement of the demonetisation, a lot of companies introduced and allows digital payments. If you are using the free services of Reliance Jio, you must come across two options, i.e., JioChat and JioMoney. To facilitate the process of transferring money, Reliance Jio introduced a new method which makes easier to the users to e-transfer money.

JioChat is similar to Whatsapp and JioMoney is same as PayTm that can use for online transactions and other digital payments. If you are the Reliance Jio customer, you can now able to send money instantly via JioChat window.

UPI to be available offline to make digital payments

Reliance announced P2P payments on JioChat through JioMoney by considering the integration of services. Last year, FreeCharge launched the similar service to allow instant transfer of money between two people. HDFC Bank also introduced OnChat feature for transferring money through Facebook Messenger.

The company made an announcement about sending and receiving the money through JioChat. This feature allows the users to send money to contacts through integrated Reliance JioMoney wallet service. To send money through conversation

  • First, users need to have two apps, i.e., JioChat and JioMoney.
  • Users have to link the two apps by clicking on the link in payments section of JioMoney app to JioChat.
  • It will automatically fetch the OTP on Android phone, but the users have to enter it manually on their smartphone.
  • The two apps will link automatically through the password that you received upon confirmation.
  • To send money, open the chat window of person you want to send.
  • Next click on Rupee icon on the chat window to enter the amount.
  • Below the text box, JioMoney account balance will reflect.
  • Once you enter the amount tap on the send button and your transaction will complete.

Users have to note that this feature is available for use only between JioMoney users. Those who want to remove the account they can just go to the payment section. Next, click on the unlink account and then select the JioMoney account so that your account will be unlinked.

Paytm Offline Payment Method: Pay,Transfer and Recharge Without Internet

Paytm announced a new feature, i.e., Offline Payment Method. It allows the user to make the payments without smartphone or internet by using Paytm Mobile Wallet. But you still need a smartphone in order to create your account and have to link your phone number to it.

To make payment without internet or smartphone, all you need is a working phone even if it is a feature phone. The company launched a toll-free number, i.e., 1800-1800-1234. You have to call that number to set the PIN. After that, you can easily pay the shopping or recharge through the phone using Paytm Mobile Wallet.

As the government announced the Digital Money usage, in a bid to help the people, Paytm comes up with Offline Payment Method. Through the released toll-free number, merchants and consumers can send or receive the money without web or smartphone.

In addition to the transfer of money, users can also recharge their phone numbers through the Paytm Offline Payment Method. To use this offline service without internet, first of all, you need to set up four digit PIN number through a toll-free number.

Users can use Paytm Mobile Wallet and recharge their mobile with Offline Payment Method.

How to Transfer Money From Paytm to Any Bank Account

  • To use the new feature, first, you need to create the Paytm account. Because it is applicable for the existing users only.
  • Dial toll-free number 1800-1800-1234 through the registered Paytm phone number.
  • You have to select the language, next enter 4-digit PIN number and confirm it by replying with 1. If you not set the PIN you will get this step.
  • If you set the PIN already, you will be asked to press 1 for send money.
  • Enter the mobile number on which you want to send money.
  • Now enter the amount you want to transfer and enter 4-digit PIN which you set before.
  • Confirm your transaction by replying with 1, and you will notify your ID number.
