Xiaomi’s much anticipated Mi Max successor to be launched on May 25 in China. The company has launched a dedicated website for the upcoming launch of Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
The website teases few details about the phone like 6-inch display on the Mi Max 2. Besides it, it also mentions about the 5000mAh battery. Xiaomi keeps up the tradition of launching the mobiles in China first and then to other markets. Xiaomi has also teased the launch on Weibo.
Considering the leaks, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 may boasts Snapdragon 626 SoC with 4GB RAM. There would be another variant with 6GB of RAM with Snapdragon 660 SoC. The phone might also flaunt 5 MP front camera and 12 MP rear camera with Sony IMX378 sensor. Xiaomi may introduce 128GB storage variant of the Mi Max 2.
Other leaks suggest that Mi Max 2 will sport an all-metal body. The design of the phone will mostly resemble its predecessor with 3.5mm audio jack and dual speaker grilles at the bottom edge. Xiaomi sold out 1.5 million units of Mi Max within two months of its launch.
