Polling for the seven-phased Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2017 came to an end. The Uttar Pradesh Assembly election results 2017 for 403 seats will be out on March 11. Now the UP Elections exit polls have been out. The election commission of India has declared a ban on publishing any exit polls before 5:30 PM on March 9. These polls are conducted by the several agencies or news channels like News 24, Chanakya, ABP News, Times Now (English), NDTV India, Aaj Tak, India Today, Total TV News, India TV, CNN-IBN, IBN 7, DNA, Zee News, News Nation, Sahara Samay, News X for UP Elections (उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव 2017)etc.

However, few polls and surveys before the election have given mixed predictions about the victory. It is a tough task to foresee the results of Uttar Pradesh elections exit polls.
The exit polls across the world have a better success rate in the past for predicting the election result. It did fare well in most western democracies and even the two party systems which include the United States of America. Uttar Pradesh elections have observed a multi- party contest where the Samajwadi Party has formed an electoral alliance with Indian National Congress.

On the other hand, Bharatiya Janata Party also has made an alliance with regional parties like Apna Dal and Bharatiya Samaj Party. Conversely, the Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to go solo in the assembly elections. The election of the state is quite a sensitive event when compared to other regions in India. The vast population and the area of the state are the reason for the election being held in seven phases.
There are some serious issues to be sorted out of which minimum support price of Sugarcane stands big. Though, the mood of such dense populated is a tough task to judge by 1 lakh respondents.

While the findings of Axis-My India gives the Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance 173 seats, the CSDS poll gives the alliance 19 more seats, taking its tally to 192. The News18 Polls of Polls, conducted in association with Gramener, a data science company, by aggregating the two polls, gives the alliance 181 seats.
The arch-rival BSP continues to face bad news from the pollsters. While the CSDS is charitable enough to place BSP with at least 81 seats, Axis My India predicted that the BSP will win only 41 seats. On aggregation, the News18 master poll predicts that the party will win 57 seats.
Let’s go to the resurgent BJP. While the Axis My India poll puts BJP on top with 185 seats, the CSDS poll gives the saffron party only 123 seats. On aggregation, the master poll puts the final figure at 160 seats.
If BJP had an upper hand over SP, Congress alliance in the UP Elections than the entire credit will go to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Uttar Pradesh Election results would have a major impact because it boosts the number of Rajya Sabha members for BJP. These results would be a referendum whether the demonetization is accepted by the people or not
