Uttarakhand Elections 2017 Exit Polls  & Opinion Polls, Survey and Prediction

Uttarakhand has observed a high-tension election finish in 2012 and INC has emerged as the single largest party. On the other hand, BJP has just missed gaining the magic figure to form the government with just one. This time, it is strongly believed that this election will be no less than dramatic compared to the earlier. And now, Uttarakhand election polls.

These polls are conducted by the several agencies or news channels like News 24, Chanakya, ABP News, Times Now (English), NDTV India, Aaj Tak, India Today, Total TV News, India TV, CNN-IBN, IBN 7, DNA, Zee News, News Nation, Sahara Samay, News X for Uttarakhand Elections 2017)etc.

The single phase Assembly polls saw a record 68 per cent turnout which was held in February this year. Mayawati-led Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) didn’t manage to have any significant impact on the polls last time. The elections in the hill state will be a head to head fight between Congress and BJP.

The Key winners in the polls were Vijay Bahuguna, BJP state president Bishan Singh Chufal, Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress chief Yashpal Arya, BJP’s Kiran Chand Mandal, Manish Tiwari and Indira Hridayesh of Congress, Harbhajan Singh Cheema of BJP, Arvind Pandey, and Adesh Chauhan, etc.

Axis-My India survey states the Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance may get 173 seats. The CSDS poll states 19 more seats for the alliance and makes it 192. The News18 Polls of Polls in association with a data science company Gramener, gives the Alliance 181 seats. This could be a result based by aggregating the two polls.

Uttarakhand Exit Polls 2017

Maya Didi continues to face bad news from the polling surveys even this time. While the CSDS places only 81 seats for BSP, Axis My India poll puts 41 seats alone. The News18 master poll predicts that the party will win 57 seats on aggregating the two polls.

Coming to BJP, the party marks the top with 185 seats in Axis my India poll and the CSDS poll gives only 123 seats. On aggregate, the master poll predicts the final figure to 160 seats.
