Sony has launched the Cyber-shot HX350 super-zoom camera in the earlier month as the successor to the Cyber-shot HX300. Now, Cyber-shot HX350 is in India, and the company has announced officially at a price of Rs. 28,990. The camera was first launched in Europe, and now it made its debut in India.
The Cyber-shot HX350 specifications haven’t changed much when compared to the Cyber-shot HX300. Cyber-shot HX350 features an up-to-date BIONZ X image processor and a back-illuminated 20.4-megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor. The ISO 80-3200 range can be expanded to 12800 in Multi-frame NR mode. The available aperture is f/2.8-6.3, and you’ll get a focal length of 24mm at the wide end and 1200mm at the telephoto end.
Sony Cyber-shot HX350 is ideal for shooting distant objects and wildlife50x optical zoom with its optical zoom. The Sony Cyber-shot HX350 features few options like an easily-accessible mode dial and a custom button for quick adjustment of settings, a manual ring for smooth adjustment of zoom and focus. The camera is capable of shooting the 10fps burst and can also record video up to 1080p at 60fps. Beside this, Sony Cyber-shot HX350 also has full PASM controls.
You’ll get a 3-inch tiltable LCD with a 921k-dot resolution. Sadly, there’s no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or NFC on board. Sony Cyber-shot HX350 sports a USB 2.0 to get connected with PC for file transfer and provides a Micro-HDMI port for viewing the content directly on an HDTV.
HX350 is equipped with SteadyShot feature which results to keep the video steady. Microphone or headphone socket is found missing on the camera which may be a disappointing element. The inbuilt Intelligent Active Mode ensures sharp and blur-free full-HD videos with Sony’s proprietary frame analysis technology. Referring to the prices, Sony Cyber-shot HX350 price in India is much lesser than Europe which cost EUR 449 (Rs. 32,600 approximately)
