The rumours have done around about the biopic of legendary actress Mahanati Savitri and now the first look of the movie released today. No real life story of any actor or actress has ever picturised up to now in the Telugu film industry. Though the Savitri Biopic project of yesteryear actress has announced a long back but there is no official announcement have done up to now. Ashwini Dutt who is producing the movie named Mahanati released the Savitri Biopic First Look.
The film aims to take the audience on the journey of Savitri and how she became Mahanati. The Savitri Biopic directed by the Nag Ashwin who wowed the critics through his Telugu debuted film Yevade Subramanyam. The leading actors have been finalised, where Nenu Sailaja fame Keerthi Suresh playing the lead role to reprise the actress on the screen. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is playing the important role of present day girl who narrates the story.

Apart from this, there is no information about the Savitri Biopic. Through the release of Mahanati First Look, the expectations for the movie have increased more among both in cinema industry and audience. On the eve of International Women’s Day 2017, the filmmakers released the Savitri Biopic First Poster featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Keerthi Suresh. Vijayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema are jointly broadcasting the Savitri Biopic.
Savitri is a legendary actress who made her debut in Telugu and Tamil Drama Samsaram in the year 1950. She gained a huge fan following through her epic performance in the films like Devadasu, Missamma, Pasa Malar, Bhale Ramudu, Gundamma Katha, Penin Perumai, Maya bazaar and Thodi Kodallu. Savitri also directed popular films, and she is also a playback singer.
