Samsung has unveiled their new smartphone in India, Samsung Z2 Tizen. The company is saying that it will release Samsung Z2 Tizen with the Linux-based operating system co-developed by the electronics giant.
Samsung Z2 is the first ever Tizen smartphone with 4G support and comes with 1.5GHz quad-core processor. As it is the low budget smartphone the specifications is as follows. Samsung Z2 comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 128 GB.
This Tizen smartphones Z2 will be available in India, starting from August 29 with the price of Rs.4590.00 which is about $68. The Open Source “Android-alternative” Operating System has main inclusion in the Samsung’s Smartwatches, TVs, Cameras and the company is also pushing into the IoT (Internet of Things).
Samsung Z2 represents the company’s third Tizen powered smartphone. The previous smartphones followed by Z1 which has launched in last year in India which has sold more than one million units. Three is going to release followed by nine months later.
As per the sources, Samsung will continue to invest in the Tizen, and it is obviously no ready for the prime time in the smartphone kingdom by evidenced the low to mid-range devices which has developed so far.
Tizen time has arrived now on a 4G Samsung Z2 smartphone is a notable development for the OS. But the time will only tell how big a role Tizen will play in the enhancing the Samsung’s smartphone ambitions.
