Nashik City Police Department received 14,086 application forms for the recruitment of 97 vacant positions of Police Constable and Bandsmen. The officials conducted physical ability test for the qualified candidates from 22nd March to 8th April 2017. The Assistant Commissioner of Police Sachin Goresadi said that around 26 police officials and 150 police constables had taken the exam to avoid any mischiefs. The recruitment was conducted for 79 police constable posts and 18 bandsmen posts. Moreover, the official announced that the minimum height requirement was changed from 2.5 cm to 162.5 cm.
