The World Cup 2019 is about to start from 30 May in England and Wales. Most of the teams have already boarded the flight and will be reaching soon. Likewise Indian Cricket Team has started off from here and is looking forward for a great tournament. Kohli and Ravi Shastri addressed the media. Team India has won two of those Mega Titles in 1983 and 2011 led by Kapil Dev and Mahendra Singh Dhoni respectively.
Well the Duo addressed the media; the questions were thrown at them. They both were patient enough to answer all the questions. Captain Kohli announced that,”Kedar Jadhav is fit and is back in the squad. There are no more changes in the side and the guys are motivated well and practice sessions will be very much intense.” When asked about MSD’s presence in the team. Coach Ravi Shastri said, “ MS Dhoni has been in and around the team from many years and he has shown that he is the best when it comes to keeping and those stumping”.
“MS was absolutely brilliant with this bat. We could see his feet moving towards the ball and the timing was excellent,” said Shastri.
When asked about the conditions and the pitch, Kohli said “The white ball cricket is totally different from the red ball.” So, pitch cannot be a factor but the dew might be one. There might be high scoring games in this world cup as the teams have completely evolved from how they were in 2014 World Cup. Chances of Grabbing the Mega Title are open to all the teams and all of them deserve.
Afghanistan as a team has evolved like anything and they are tough competitors in this World Cup. Likewise, Bangladesh and Windies can also make it to the finals if they work hard. The Mega Event is going to kick start in less than 10 days. Let us wish them luck and many more runs and titles for their country.
