The IIFA Awards 2017 which the 18th edition of International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony. The show will be telecasted on July 16th on colors tv at 7 pm. The IIFA awards are presented annually by the International Indian Film Academy honouring the best Hindi films of 2016. The details of the awards are given below.
IIFA 2017 is the biggest night of the year. A star-studded event with Bollywood biggest superstars. 18th IIFA Awards are hosted by Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan. It will be interesting to see them, host.
After traveling across four continents over the last 17 years, this year IIFA is headed towards New york, MetLife Stadium. IIFA awards 2017 will reflect the spirit of the city of dreams, as we showcase the grandest spectacle of Indian cinema. The event is four long days with the main ceremony on July 15.
Before the main event, IIFA Rocks will be scheduled on July 14. The pre-celebration will honour 25 years of Oscar winning Indian musician AR Rahman. The event will be featuring a medley by all the musicians including Diljit Dosanjh, Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, Jonita Gandhi, Haricharan Seshadri and Benny Dayal. Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul will be hosting this ceremony tickling your funny bones with hilarious fun activities.
Meanwhile, coming to the main event on July 15
The show will be co-hosted by Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan. Varun Dhawan will be launching the new song from his upcoming flick “Judwaa 2” on IIFA stage. The name of the song is “Oonchi Hai Building.”
The stars that are going to perform are Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon, to name a few.
Celebrities like Shahid Kapoor along with baby and wife Mira Kapoor flew to New York. Dabang star Salman Khan also landed. The rehearsing videos are also posted by the stars in social networking sites. The IIFA awards will wrap after a closing party on July 16.The award show will be exclusively aired on the channel Colors on Sunday, July 16 at 7 pm
