A new startup company named Docoss Multimedia Private Limited unveiled a cheaper android mobile on 27th April 2016. The Firm had already opened online and offline booking for its Smartphone named DOCOSS X1 in India. The Jaipur-based company is offering it for Rs.888/- which is very affordable. The bookings will be closed on 29th April 2016 and delivery of the devices would be commenced from 2nd May 2016.
Earlier in the year similar company named Ringing Bells was in the news for its cheapest smartphone called FREEDOM 251. Many legal proceedings and cases are filed for the company on multiple issues like the delivery of the product. This Company has created sensation which finally results in controversy. There is no information whether it can deliver the product on time or not.
The problem with these kinds of companies is that they don’t have proper validation. They attract the ordinary people with big advertisements on Newspapers highlighting the Price. We wouldn’t have even heard the company’s name before but they will showcase themselves as a proper company.
Coming to the DOCOSS X1 the features of the phone are in near match to the price the company had announced. The Cheaper smartphone would have a 4-inch display. It is provided with a dual-core chipset & 1.3GHz Processor. The smartphone runs on 4.4 version of Kitkat OS. It is equipped with 1GB of RAM and having an internal storage capacity of 4GB.
The Smartphone also can be expanded up to 32GB through external memory card. The backside camera is having 2MP resolution sensor and the front facing camera is of 0.3MP. Provided by a Dual SIM facility & 3G Network and is powered by a 1300mAh battery. These are very basic specifications when compared to the present generation smartphones.
When enquired about the details of the company we got to know that it is based in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. It registered as Smartphone Seller Company under the name Docoss Multimedia Private Limited. The official website of the company is registered two months back and seems to be in construction. No other details about the official members of the firm available.
