DU Admissions 2018: Delhi University had announced that admission into B.Com and B.Com (Hons) course will be made only through B.Com Entrance Test in the next academic year.

An official statement by the university stated tat “Hereby informed to all aspirants who desire to take admission to University of Delhi B.Com/B.Com (Hons) for the session 2018-19 that the Admissions entry for the Candidates in said courses will only be made through B.Com Entrance Tests 2018,”

Till now Delhi University is providing admission in both these courses based on students score in his 12th Class. From next year onwards the university is providing admission through All India Level basis Entrance test.

Dr Manoj Khanna, convenor of Admission Committee of DU said that “entrance will start for the commerce admission. But we are exploring other possibilities in other subjects”, and they were also looking for a tie-up with the CBSE board which conducts all India-level exams.

Delhi University may conduct the entrance test most probably between the end of May and mid-June. The university has implemented entrance test in B.Com and B.Com (H) 2018 because most of the students are not getting admission in several reputed colleges due to low scores in their board examinations. DU is making arrangements on how to strengthen the infrastructure for online admissions and on evolving a student-friendly admission system.
