As the price war between telecom operators is head-to-head. BSNL is tipping out the new offers and plans which stand tough for competitors. The Rs.399 plan for BSNL prepaid users is serving at its best considering its data benefits. Now, the company is hinting about BSNL unlimited off-net calls.
Though the state-run telecom network is offering free on-net voice calls, off-net calls are being charged. However, the charges are confined to be minimalistic when compared to other operators.
In a recent tweet, BSNL CMD, Anupam Shrivastava has said that the company will come up with an unlimited off-net voice calling plan to compete with private telecom operators soon. Though he didn’t mention about the launch date of the plan, his tweet reveals the company’s idea in coming future. Private telecom operators in India are offering unlimited calling and few more benefits to attack Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer.
As of now, BSNL is providing 2GB data per day and unlimited on-net calling with the new STV 339 plan. This can be considered as a head-to head fight with Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. If BSNL is planning to offer unlimited off-net calls for the same cost of Rs.339, it would be great. However, the company is happy with the response for the BSNL 339 recharge.
Recent reports say that BSNL customers have consumed over 400TB data as on March 19 and majority of users are driven by Rs. 339 plan.
