AFCAT 2 2017 Answer Key: Indian Air Force has conducted the Air Force Common Admission Test 2 for Flying, Technical, and Ground Duty Branches on 27th August 2017. Candidates who aspire to make a career in Indian Air Force appeared for the exam and are waiting for the official answer key. Candidates who passed 10 and 12 Standards, Indian Air Force is back with the latest notification. Now, they have released Indian Air Force Recruitment 2017. Aspirants in probe of Central Govt Jobs can register for Group ‘C’ Civilian Posts. There are 154 LDC, Safaiwala, MTS and various Vacancies.

First of all, applicants are supposed to check eligibility criteria details and then submit your application through offline mode. Eligible one can apply for Join Indian Air Force Group C Civilian Vacancies only upto April 17.

Indian Air Force (IAF) was established on 8th October 1932. It is also known as Bharatiya Vayu Sena. IAF is the world fourth largest air force and primarily responsible for securing Indian airspace and also to conduct aerial warfare during conflicts.

Designations are like Lower Division Clerk, Multi Tasking Staff, Safaiwala, Dhobi, Store Keeper, Mess Staff, Painter, Carpenter, etc. Applicants, now it’s time to check education qualification and age limit details for submission of applications to authority.

Candidates should have completed Matriculation, or 10th Pass or its equivalent qualification from any recognised Board or University are eligible to register for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2017. Aero India Off to High-Flying Start in Bengaluru

Asia’s biennial Aero India premier air show took off in this aerospace hub on Tuesday with a spectacular flying display of fighters and helicopters in various formations, including breath-taking aerobatics.

Being held at the Yelahanka base of the Indian Air Force (IAF) on the city’s outskirts, the 11th edition of the five-day aerospace and defense event has included civil aviation and airport infrastructure for the first time to showcase products and technologies and unfold opportunities in both the sectors.

Fighters of India’s indigenous Tejas, Russia’s Sukhoi SU-30, Sweden’s Gripen, the French Rafale and the US F-16 stole the show with awesome manueveres and daring feats that held about 5,000 spectators spellbound.

The hour-long flying display of military aircraft, choppers and aerobatics of Surya Kiran team on Hawk trainers, Sarang team on Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) and two civil aircraft by British and Scandinavian teams in a partially cloudy sky under salubrious climate enthralled the audience.

The maiden flight of the Light Utility Helicopter (LUH) prototype of state-run Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) and the first indigenous Airborne Early Warning and Control System (AEW&C) on board the Brazilian Embraer-145 jet (Netra) were among the highlights of the thrilling air show.

The fly-past, which included three IAF MI-17 copters in a vic formation and solo flights of HAL’s HTT-40 trainer, the Swiss-made Pilatus trainer and the vintage Tiger Moth had the audience glued to the skies.

About 70 military and civil aircraft have flown into Bengaluru for flying and static display at the expo, which has also attracted about 549 firms, including 279 foreign and 270 Indian exhibitors to showcase their products and technologies for buyers and collaborators.

Delegations from 109 countries across the world are also participating in the event. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju, the chiefs of the Army, Navy and IAF and Karnataka Industry Minister R.V. Deshpand were among the dignitaries who participated in the inaugural event.

US Air Force Secretary Praises “Sankat Mochan” Operation by Indian Air Force

Ahead of India trip, United States Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James said that the South Sudan evacuation operation by Indian Air Force was magnificent.

James who scheduled her visit in August to India said reporters at New York “looking forward to congratulating the IAF chief in particular on what I think is a magnificent execution of the C-17 operation where you were able to evacuate Indian citizens from South Sudan. Well done on that.”

Operation Sankat Mochan has rescued about 156 Indian citizens from South Sudan’s capital Juba, on account of the South Sudan civil war. Two C-17 Globemaster aircraft’s purchased from the US were deployed to evacuate the citizens. It landed in Kerala on 16th July.

She described Indian Air Force unit as “a very effective fighting unit” recalling IAF participation in Red Flag exercises with the US Air Force.

During the exercise, she said, “we get together with coalition partners and we train together and interoperate together and we go up sometimes against simulated threats so that we test ourselves on a high-end, very challenging, difficult environment.”

IAF has recently participated in Four-week Red Flag exercise in Alaska, which concluded in the month of May.

She will be meeting Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, the Chief of Air Staff and other senior officials and will be discussing the possibility of the two countries jointly producing aircraft and components.

“I am also aware of the prime minister’s push for Make in India and the importance of creating new jobs in that sector,” she said.
