This game-changing aircraft reflects the values of the new global Indian, and reaffirms our commitment to this important market by introducing the very best and latest in air travel,” says Wolfgang Will, Senior Director South Asia, Lufthansa Passenger Airlines.

Discussing the aircraft, both its fuselage and wing structures are made of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer. The A340 is succeeded to take on the Boeing 787 and 777 with 366 passengers seating. However, the seating depends on variants. The Airbus was originally visualized in 2004 and apparently spent €11 billion for developing the aircraft.
The first prototype of the aircraft flew in June 2013 from Toulouse, France. But it was commercially induced by Qatar Airways in January 2015.
