Google Stadia has been preparing for its launch on 19th of November 2019 and now it is ready with 22 games to be released on the day. There was news that the launch would happen with about half the number, but this surely is welcome news for those who have been waiting for the Cloud Gaming Service. Some of the additional titles were expected to release in 2020, but the team has worked hard in getting them ready for the launch.

In reply to a tweet, Phil Harrison, in-charge of Google Stadia said, “Yes, we were perhaps a little conservative in our forecast last week and (most importantly) our partners did an awesome job getting last few kinks ironed out and through testing”

The titles originally planned for the launch are:

  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Destiny 2: The Collection (available in Stadia Pro)
  • Gylt
  • Just Dance 2020
  • Kine
  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • Rise of the Tomb Raider
  • Red Dead Redemption 2
  • Samurai Showdown (available in Stadia Pro)
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • Thumper
  • Tomb Raider 2013

The additional titles are

  • Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2
  • Farming Simulator 2019
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • Football Manager 2020
  • Grid 2019
  • Metro Exodus
  • NBA 2K20
  • Rage 2
  • Trials Rising
  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood

A title all set for release by end of 2019 is the “Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint” and 2020 will see the arrival of “Doom: Eternal”, “Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters”, and “Cyberpunk 2077.”

“Destiny 2”, which was to be the only free game for subscribers of Stadia Pro at launch will now be accompanied by “Samurai showdown” as a freebie, too. The regular subscription of the game is $10 per month if you want to play them with the 4K resolution with HDR support, while you can play free with 1080p resolution.

It is good to have the number of launch titles at a decent number as the competition already has 50 live titles, that too, in the preview stage. Having additional titles in by early 2020 will boost its position as well
