Staff Selection Commission (SSC) was established on 4th November 1975. It is the organisation under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts. The headquarters is located in New Delhi. The regional offices at located at Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore and sub-regional offices at Raipur & Chandigarh. Every academic year, the Commission conducts Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) and Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exams.
A long back, SSC CHSL Notification 2016 released for 6578 Vacancies for Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Postal Assistant (PA) & Sorting Assistant (SA) Posts. Candidates registered can check the SSC CHSL Tier I Result 2017. Qualified candidates will allow to attend for Tier II Exam, Skill Test and Typing Test.
Aspirants have to check the SSC CHSL LDC DEO Cut off Marks. It is calculated based on total marks and category wise in General Intelligence, English, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. For each wrong answer, the negative marking is 0.50 marks. According to the previous year, the cut-off was 199 marks for General category, 110 for OBC, 99 for SC and 89.50 for ST.
