In Jaipur Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his crew members packed up the shooting of Padmavati and may return to Mumbai. On the sets of Padmavati, Rajput Karni Sena workers slapped the director for damaging the reputation of the queen.
On Friday, attack was done on the Sanjay. The protesters of Rajput Karni has entered into the sets by shouting, they damaged the cameras. They slapped and pulled the hair of Sanjay Leela Bhansali for filming false stories.
Going into the details, we all know that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is making a film ‘Padmavati’ on the basis of a queen named Padmavati starring with Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh.
Padmavati was a queen for the chittor fort in jaipur. She married to Rawal Rattan Singh and became queen to his chittor kingdom. According to the history, she is very beautiful and everyone got mesmerized by her beauty.
After some years, Mughals came to our country, in that process Alauddin khilji has attacked the chittor kingdom, he got stunned by the beauty of the queen and made plans to marry her. Alauddin also killed her husband Rawal Rattan Singh to marry her. So, Queen Padmavati had committed Jauhar along with her servants. Jauhar means women committing suicides in groups to protect themselves from other kings
This story shows how great the Queen Padmavati is, and she never let another person touch her. But in this film, Sanjay is filming some love scenes between Padmavati and Alauddin khilji. So Protestants of Rajput Karni asked to delete those scenes and created a mess in the set.
The Karni Sena said the queen of chittor fort is the symbol of Indian women, she killed herself to protect from other kings. How Sanjay could film dirty and fake scenes which are not in history and how he could insult his own blood in front of others.
At present shooting was cancelled and all the team members of this film are returning to Mumbai.
