Reliance Jio Database Leak: Another Huge data breach occurs in India and this time its Jio users who got affected.  A website by the name magicapk.com appears to show personal information of Reliance Jio customers. The scale of the alleged Jio database leak is yet to be revealed, and Reliance Jio insists that customer data is safe.

Reliance Jio customers took to Twitter on Sunday and shared the URL of the website to look up at the Jio database leak. magicapk.com is able to show the customers full name and their registered phone number. Also, it is providing details about the circle which the number was registered in. Our team has personally verified the case and found the information of several customers in search results.

However, it is unclear at the moment about the heads behind the Jio database leak. According to public information on domain registrars, the IP address is found behind the website is a Mumbai-based one. The company claims that the details shown on the Jio database leak website are public data which can be accessed by any mobile recharge service.

Reliance Jio claims that its customer data is safe proceeds for further investigation. “We want to assure our subscribers that their data is safe and maintained with the highest security. Data is only shared with authorities as per their requirement. We have informed law enforcement agencies about the claims of the website and will follow through to ensure strict action is taken.” Reliance Jio spokesperson said in a statement.
