Olympics Badminton silver medalist, PV Sindhu became a Film producer now. She’s going to produce digital film paying respect to her coach and mentor Pullela Gopichand for his immense hard work and excellence.
They prepared a digital film with all the clippings of her practice and his encouragement all time with her. Recently the Telugu girl from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh joined hands with sports drink brand Gatorade as a sign of celebration for the people who always encourage you to grow in your life. She is now an ambassador of the energy drink brand.
“Coach has worked relentlessly and has had big dreams for me. He is my faith replenisher. Working with Gatorade on this film has hit close to home, and I can’t help but feel indebted to coach for his relentless pursuit of excellence,” Sindhu said in a statement.
Sindhu added that “This Teacher’s Day, I dedicate all my success to him and urge everyone else to also honor the driving force in their lives. Let’s hate our teachers for pushing us further and believing in us more than we believe in ourselves.”
Sindhu recently finished her World Badminton Championships in Glasgow last month at second place. The intention behind the digital film is to show a teachers dedication, hard work, and sacrifice for their students. To see the student touching the heights.
Vipul Prakash, Senior Vice President – Beverage Category, PepsiCo India said “The idea behind the film was to bring alive the crucial love-hate relationship with the mentors, guides, trainers, and teachers who have pushed us to succeed. Authenticity has become the bedrock of consumer sentiment, and as an ode to teachers, we couldn’t have found a better story to tell than that of our brand ambassador PV Sindhu.”
Senthil Kumar, Chief Creative Officer of the creative agency JWT India, said they would show the purest form of Sindhu dedicating the film to her GURU. The film is an ode to Gopichand.
