Oppo R9S Confirms 4GB RAM, 16MP Camera

Most of the high-end smartphones have announced for 2016. There are still some best devices are coming in overseas, and the Oppo R9s are one of them. The Oppo showcased the Smart Sensor Image Stabilization and Super VOOC technologies in Mobile World Congress (MWC) in March.

Soon after that, the company have launched Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus in China. At the time of launch these devices are limited to the just Chinese market and got a huge response for its camera quality and high-end specifications. Both the devices featured with Super AMOLED display and 16MP selfie camera.

From the last few months, there are quite rumours that are doing around was the launch of Oppo R9 series called Oppo R9s. The company also launched the new variant Oppo R9 with model number R9km with JDI display in last month. The Oppo R9s is rumoured to launch on 19th October in China officially.

Moving to the specifications, unlike R9 and R9 Plus, the Oppo R9s doesn’t feature an AMOLED display. The device features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 and 64-bit Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. The Oppo R9 is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It has a unique feature, i.e., Adreno 506 GPU for gaming.

In Display section, as per the leaks, the Oppo R9 smartphone will pack with 5.5 inches Full HD IPS (In-Plane Switching) display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Camera segment featured with a 16megapixel rear camera with PDAF, a f/1.7 aperture on the front that can capture images even in low light and a 13megapixel snapper for video calling and selfies.

It is expected that it offers the same sensor on front and back of the device as of like Oppo R9 and R9 Plus. And also supposed to bring the Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Color OS. The device is also to feature the latest Super VOOC Flash Charging Technology. The battery is packed with a 2,500mAh that is rated to charge in just 15 minutes fully. It can reach from 0% to 45% within a time span of 5 minutes.

Despite this leak, we need to wait for some official confirmation or the announcement from the company.
