On a shocking note, the interim vice-chancellor Vijay Bhatkar of Nalanda International University has submitted resignation taking moral responsibility on Wednesday. He took the decision after two students allegedly sexually harassing one of their co-students.

As per the latest updates, one of the two students was suspended by the management on the charge of sexually harassing the fellow students. In a statement, University media in charge, Smita Polite stated that a complaint has been received a month ago allegedly for sexually harassing the fellow students. She said that the management has taken properly against the duo, immediately the incident was reported, following a proper procedure.

In a letter written by the VC during the resignation, he stated, “I take moral responsibility for the problems that the University experienced in the last three days.”
