India’s favorite tall boy hatchback Wagon R is up with another new variant VXI+. This new top-of-the-line variant from Maruti Suzuki is available in both manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) options. Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the latest addition in four trims- VXI+, VXI+ (O), VXI+ AGS, VXI+ (O) AGS. The price of Maruti Suzuki Wagon VXI+ starts from Rs.4.69 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 5.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The car looks more like earlier stingray which was launched as a premium version of Wagon R. The latest Maruti Suzuki Wagon VXI+ offers an improved styling and packs some new features. A stylish chrome design grille wraps around the projector headlamps.

The new well-designed larger front bumper houses the 4-slat hexagonal grille. The WagonR VXI+ comes with round fog lamps encased in plastic claddings, side skirts, and new stylish alloy wheels. On the other hand, the cabin comes with new dual-tone black & beige interior along with piano black finish panels. Maruti WagonR VXI+ is equipped with offerings like Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic brake - force distribution system, Dual Airbags, as optional.

“WagonR has had a phenomenal journey since its launch. Maruti Suzuki has delivered over 19 lakh WagonR. The WagonR VXI+ has been introduced to meet customer demands, who have desired for more style, along with comfort, convenience, and advanced safety features. The WagonR VXI+ defines unique design interventions both on the interiors as well as exteriors. It would strengthen the WagonR brand and help to enhance Maruti Suzuki’s market share,” says, R. S. New WagonR VXI+ remains unchanged on engine font and powered by the same 67 bhp 1.0-litre K10 engine. Transmission options of 5-speed manual gearbox or Maruti’s automated manual transmission unit AGS is available as optional.
