Maruti Suzuki is making constant efforts to attract sedan buyers with another model excepting Swift Dzire. Now, the Indian car maker has launched new trim into Ciaz range, called Ciaz S. This new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S is made available in both diesel and petrol variants targeting buyers in large scale. Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S petrol variant price starts at Rs.9.39 lakh, while Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S Diesel variant price is listed at Rs.11.55 lakh (prices as per ex-showroom Delhi).
Latest Maruti Ciaz S gets cosmetic changes over the earlier standard Ciaz Alpha. Interestingly, the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S price is just Rs.11,000 more than the standard variant.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S Features:
All New Ciaz S gets a sporty look with no less than any features offer in the top-spec variant. In particular, Maruti Ciaz S features touchscreen infotainment system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also, it comes with automatic climate control, cruise control, and much more such options. The all-black interior with leather upholstery adds more style to the Suzuki Ciaz S along with the chrome accents for the cabin.
On the other hand, Safety features in the Ciaz S include seat belt pre-tensioner with force limiter, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX (child seat restraint system). Yet, this is not for the first time that Maruti Suzuki is trying to add a Sporty look to Ciaz. The company introduced Ciaz RS earlier in 2015 with some minor updates over regular model.

Under the hood, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S drives power from the same 91 bhp 1.4-litre petrol and 88 bhp 1.3-litre diesel engine with Suzuki smart SHVS system. Maruti Ciaz S petrol variant users can choose between the 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed auto gearbox variants. Sadly, Ciaz S diesel buyers have no option expect to confine for the 5-speed manual unit.
Maruti claims that the new Ciaz S will attract segment buyers with its all new sporty look. However, the records claim that Ciaz dominates the category with 43.5 per cent market share. It would be more interesting to see how Maruti Suzuki Ciaz S competes with the likes of Skoda Rapid, Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Vento.
