Indian Mobile Handset Manufacturer, Lava’s latest smartphone X81 has hit the market last week and now it has unveiled an affordable tablet X80. The company has claimed that the tablet is specially designed to provide ‘Next generation Experience’ to users. Priced at Rs.9999 Lava X80 tablet is available in all the retail stores and multi-brand outlets in India.

During the Lava X80 launch event on Tuesday, Raman Sharma, VP and head of tablets and IT at Lava International Ltd said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of Lava X80. With the evolving internet penetration and thus want of enhanced multimedia usage by consumers, Lava X80 is designed to offer next generation experience to consumers.”

Lava X80 packs an 8-inch HD display with 1280×800 pixels high resolution. It is powered by 1.83Hz Quad core Intel processor and it is paired with 1 GB RAM. In addition, it also has 16GB internal storage space which is further expandable up to 32GB. Lava X80 comes with an integrated Intel Atom Baytrail graphic core chipset which gives a smooth gaming experience.

Tablet X80’s optics include a 5-mega pixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. The device also supports a 3.2 mega pixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The affordable tablet features a powerful 4200mAh Li-ion battery inside. And the connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, 3.5mm Audio Jack, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPRS/EDGE, and Micro-USB 2.0 port.
