Warner Bros and legendary’s Kong Skull Island roar out loud than expected at the Worldwide Box Office Collections scaling about $61 Million from 3,846 theatres. Kong Skull Island Box Office Collection which was released on 8th March 2017 lets the Logan Box Office Collection to the back of it.

Heading into the Weekend Box Office Collections, at first Kong was expected to earn $45 Million to $50 Million, but most surprisingly the movie makes $61 Million. No doubt it is a big relief for the Warner Bros and Legendary. The final title of Wolverine series produced at a budget of $100 Million.

Kong Skull Island is the second title in their monster movie universe after Godzilla which was released in the year 2014 with the first-day collection of $93 million. The film ultimately collected $529 Million worldwide against the production budget of $160 million. Kong is the first Hollywood studio movie featuring iconic ape on the screens.

The story is set entirely on the island where animals reside alongside the oversized creatures. The film got a huge response from the critics and awarded with B+ CinemaScore from the audiences. Skull Island was directed by the Jordan Vogt-Roberts, and the lead cast includes Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman.

Kong Skull Island might face the challenge like a sandwich between Logan and next week release of Beauty and the Beast. But as per now by considering the Weekend Box Office Collections, Kong roars huge at the box office and makes the Logan (the threequel of Wolverine) next to it. Falling to Number-2, Logan earned an estimated collection of $37.9 Million.
