Jaguar F-Pace performance SUV now in India: Know Specs and Price Details

Jaguar has finally launched its SUV model, ‘Jaguar F-Pace’ in India at Rs. 68.40 lakh. (As per ex-showroom, Delhi).  This all-new Jaguar F-Pace is the company’s first-ever SUV and the following model is available in the diesel engine variant. The trim levels base as 2.0-liter pure variant which is priced at Rs 68.40 lakh, another variant 2.0-litre Prestige variant is priced at Rs. 74.50 lakh. The top end variants 3.0-litre R-Sport variant priced at Rs. 1.02 crore and 3.0-litre First edition variant priced starting from Rs. 1.12 crore.

Rohit Suri, President, Jaguar Land Rover India (JLRIL) says, “We have received an overwhelming response for the car worldwide and we expect the same in India as well. It is indeed one of the most awaited products in the Indian market. The launch of F-PACE ushers Jaguar into the SUV market; a smooth ride that will mark the dawn of a new era for Jaguar in India.”

The design of the Jaguar F-Pace is widely inspired by the F-Type highlighting the angular lines and the company’s signature ‘J’ shaped Daytime running lights. This SUV is based on the company’s new lightweight Aluminium architecture, which makes more secure and at the same time much lighter. In the rear end, it is featured with the sleek full LED tail lights which are strikingly similar to F-Type’s design language.

Coming to the specs of this Jaguar F-Pace SUV, it comes with two diesel engine options. The 2.0-litre Ingenium engine variant is found on the Pure, and Prestige variants which can be able to produces 180bhp of power and 430Nm of torque. The car can attain the speed from 0-100 kmph in 8.7 seconds. It can reach the top speed up to 200 kmph.

Another variant 3.0-litre V6 Diesel Ingenium engine is with R-Sport and First Edition variant. This can pump out 300 bhp of power and 700Nm of torque. The car can attain the speed from 0-100 kmph in just 6.2 seconds. It can reach the maximum speed of 241 kmph.

Both the engines are coupled to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission where the AWD comes as standard across all variants.
