The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification of Clerical Cadre CWE-VI posts and invited the online application forms. After completing the registration process the officials conducted the prelims exam and also released the results. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is an autonomous agency which has stared its operation in the year 1975 as Personnel Selection Service (PSS) in India. IBPS became an independent entity on behest of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and public sector banks in the year 1984.
IBPS has introduced Common Written Examination (CWE) in 2011 for the selection of Probationary Officers, Clerical cadre. And this CWE is mandatory for the candidates who are seeking employment in Regional Rural Banks (RRB). Aspirants selected in the examinations conducted by IBPS will be allotted in 21 participating banks.
Annually it releases the various notifications and selects the candidates according to the recruitment rules. As of like every year, it released the notification of CWE-VI for the post of Clerical Cadre. Some lakhs of candidates have applied and attended for the prelims exam on 26th& 27th November and 3rd& 4th December 2016.
