The Chinese smartphone maker Gionee launched a new smartphone in India which is named as Gionee X1. The company plans to start a new line of products with Gionee X1 being the first one.
The Gionee X1 gets a 5-inch full HD IPS display with the pixel resolution of 720×1280. The dual-sim Gionee X1 features a rare-facing fingerprint sensor which the company believes to be fast and accurate.
The device comes with 8-megapixel shooters on either side. The rear camera is aided with an LED flash to capture low-light images and videos. The front camera of same 8MP is ideal for video calling and for taking selfies. The Gionee X1 is powered by the non-removable standard battery Li-Ion 3,000mAh which lasts for the entire day.

Gionee X1 is armed with 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC which is paired with 2GB of RAM and internal storage of 16GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. On software font, the Gionee X1 runs on Amigo 4.0 UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat which gives users “all the personalization they want, and then some more.”
The combination of Android and Amigo offers several gestures like on board like quick switch between apps, multi-window viewing, and much more.
The Gionee X1 packs connectivity options like 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and a micro USB 2.0 port. The smartphone comes with 2G, 3G, and 4G support.

Gionee India has partnered with Airtel and PayTm and is offering additional 10 GB data per month for six consecutive recharges to both new and existing Airtel customers who buy Gionee X1. The company is also offering 2 PayTM Cashback Vouchers Codes entitling customers with Rs 250 cash back on a minimum purchase of Rs 350 on PayTM Mall.
Gionee X1 price starts at Rs 8,999 and will be available at all retail stores. The device is made available in two color options Black and Gold.
