In the year 2016, Reliance Jio revolutionized the telecom services & with that Jio sim cards rose to popularity. The unlimited internet and talk time allured the whole India’s mankind to avail the services. Slowly everybody started using jio and the results seemed to be wonderful at least on the internet usage front.
Now in 2018, Reliance Jio is all set to blossom via its next innovation. This time, Jio is using optical fiber to serve the internet users who require heavy data usage. As its first collaboration with broadband segment, Reliance Jio has come up with Jio GigaFiber. The plans under this head will be launched on Independence day, which is on 15th of this month. You can start registering for the service from the same mentioned day.
How to register?
We can register in 2 ways: MyJio app and Jio.com. Registration is absolutely free and Jio GigaFiber details and registration options can be accessed on Jio’s official website- Jio.com or the application named as MyJio. Charges are applicable to the registered users during the time of installation. Installation charges would sum up to Rs 4500 but it is refunded to the customer in case he/she wants to discontinue it. Although not confirmed yet but these were the reports that were doing the rounds in the internet lately.
The trusted reports say that the Jio GigaFiber plans shall come into action commercially in the next few months. Ideally before November 7th of this year, the service shall be rolled out to all the users. However the fact that the registration process will be starting from 15th of this month, cannot be denied.
In order to increase the sense of motivation and softly push the users to register, while at Jio’s Annual General Meeting, Mukesh Ambani said that the location which accounts to highest number of registrations, will be considered special and served first.
The new plan’s price is completely under discussions. There are a lot of rumors on its cost. To answer all such buzz on the price, the report said that the price would start from Rs 500.
