Eicher Motors famous for its Royal Enfield is now focusing on Italian sports bike maker Ducati. Eicher has already contacted the global banks and consulting companies to finalize the amount of bidding. Eicher motors have planned to bid from $1.8 billion to $2 billion.

Eicher is said to be the only Asian company participating in the bidding. It is taking part in the conduction of bidding very enthusiastically by applying to the banks before the deadline. The deadline is scheduled to the end of September and Eicher is making sure of finalizing the structure with the consulting banks.

Ducati Motor is an Italian company that designs and manufactures motorcycles. Based in Italy, Ducati is owned by German automotive manufacturer Audi through its Italian subsidiary Lamborghini, which is all ultimately owned by the Volkswagen Group.

After releasing the royal Enfield and its success, Eicher is all set to own the stylish bike company Ducati and make it a success. If it results in success, it will further power its portfolio, brand equity, and global reach.

Eicher Motors Limited (EML) inaugurated in 1982, is an Indian automaker company based in Gurgaon, India. Eicher is the manufacturer of Royal Enfield. Now Eicher wants to own Ducati and hope for its success. The Italy based company has decided to Auction the bike brand Ducati and the probability of owning seems to Eicher Motors.

Reportedly, triggered benefits from a different set of potential suitors, including Harley Davidson, Suzuki home grown Bajaj Auto and Hero Moto Corp Ltd as well as private equity buyouts funds like KKR and CVC Capital Partners.
