Congress Party Twitter Account Hacked, Government Starts Investigation

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi Twitter Account hacked a few days back, and hackers posted rude tweets on his account, and the account name was renamed. Hours after posting vulgar tweets on Rahul Gandhi Twitter page, now hackers targeted his party Congress Twitter Account and finally it was hacked. The Government has ordered an investigation and asked for the Twitter activity of both the accounts in the past week.

The Congress Party spoke to Information Technology Ministry officials and also gave complaint at the police cyber security cell last night. A bunch of offensive tweets was posted on Congress party official Twitter page (INC India) on today morning in the half hour that it took for the party to recover control of the page.

One of the tweets mentioned that “full dump of Congress emails is coming up for you as Christmas Special. Stay Tuned here.”

Earlier night, Rahul Gandhi Twitter Hacked and posted few abusing tweets on his page. His profile picture removed and the title changed to “Retarded Gandhi” from @OfficeOfRG.

Nearly eight tweets were posted around 8:30 pm. Within one hour all the posts were deleted, but new one came up immediately. Congress Spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted, “Such silly strategies and abusive tweets won’t drown the sane voice of reason nor frighten Rahul Gandhi from raising public issues.”

“Such dishonest, immoral and cheating conduct of corruptible trolls reflects disturbing timidities of predominant fascist culture,” he wrote in another tweet.

However, Congress Party Twitter Account has now restored, and the investigation is going on about this incident.
