Bajaj Auto has commenced the sale of the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 in India. The much-awaited motorcycle is priced at ₹ 96,443 (ex-showroom, Navi Mumbai). New Pulsar NS 200 fighter comes with several new features and a bunch of cosmetic changes. Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 price is also an interesting factor which stands strong with its rivals.
Recently, Yamaha has launched its 250 cc variant FZ 25 and TVS has also unveiled Apache RTR 200 4V. If we compare the prices, Yamaha FZ25 starts at INR 1.19 lakh, and TVS Apache 200 is priced at INR 90,015.
Coming back to Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, design and styling of the bike is available in three new color shades in dual tone options Black-Grey, Red-Grey and White-Grey. The muscular posture of the street-fighter is now emphasized sharp color accents. The beefy fuel tank with tank shrouds remained same in the latest Pulsar NS 200.
Sleek tail section and the similar 17-inch alloy wheels shod in MRF NyloGrip tyres. Other features in the Pulsar NS 200 include auto headlamps on (AHO) function, body color belly pan, and optional center stand.
On engine font, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 packs an updated 199.5 cc engine which satisfies BS IV emission norms. The single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine churns out 23bhp, developing 18.3 Nm of peak torque. a 6-speed transmission is mated to the engine to drive power. Sadly, we do not get fuel injection at least as an optional variant which is available in the export model. On the other hand, rivals like FZ25 and Apache 200 does offer the fuel injection.
Unfortunately, the bike doesn’t get anti-lock brakes (ABS) which disappoint expectations of many. Presently, Bajaj has made the Pulsar NS 200 available across its dealer chain in the country.
