Tech Giant Google has launched new version of its Android Operating System. As Expected Google has named the Android 8.0 as Oreo. The new update is released into the market, and soon all the android users would experience Oreo. There are many changes brought to the Android smartphones with this Android New OS. Battery Saving:

Every smartphone user is only worried about battery drain issues. Due to a lot of apps in the mobile that is running in background cause battery to drain without any action taking place. Android Oreo may finally fix issues with standby battery drain. Doze Mode helped a bit in this case when it was introduced with Marshmallow, then improved upon with Nougat. Now Google’s is making sure that background actions don’t take place anymore. This will help battery to last long.

Finger print options:

The finger print scanner is coming in all new form. Previously it was used to unlock the phone for security, but now it can be used for operating the phone. By swiping on finger print button, u can swipe on screen both vertically and horizontally.

Internal storage control:

Now it is much easier to erase the unessential data from your mobile. When the storage is going to be filled, then mobile will show you space where it can be deleted and make more space for data storage. It has arranged a special category for games, music, files, etc.

Switching Wi-Fi automatically:

It is common that Wi-Fi connections are identified by the mobile when the option is in ON condition. But all new Android Oreo has introduced the option of identifying the Wi-Fi connection even when it is in off condition. Notification can be viewed in notification bar regarding the availability of Wi-Fi.

Split Screen Mode:

Android now following Android Nougat’s split-screen mode, has made available viewing of two different pages at a time. Now two different apps can be used at a time, which sounds more interesting part of using mobile.

Auto-fill option:

We know that Chrome will auto-fill saved information such as addresses and credit card numbers when it detects a compatible field. The Same option is available now on the mobile. Saving the time and reducing stress for the user. You need not remember the accounts and passwords all the time just use your smartphone with Android latest version.

Notification channel:

Making this more interesting, now notification bar has a different type of fashion for a different category. It has modeled for showing notification for messages and another model for social media notifications, which will make the work of identification much easier and fun.

Pixel launcher:

The Pixel launcher will now allow you to swipe up from almost anywhere on your home screen to open the app drawer. So you’ll no longer have to initiate the swipe from the dock at the bottom of the screen. Making things easier and effortless.

Color Gamuts Availability:

Many of the phones offer color gamut option to make the image in mobile more attractive and visualized. But the Android app was lacking the option. But it is ready with wide color gamut option to add color to your life.

Connection indicator along with battery:

This is just a minor tweak, but when you pull down your notification shade to access your Quick Settings, you’ll now be able to view a set of connectivity and battery indicators at the top of the screen, next to the Settings gear. Tapping the icons will not make a difference, but it’s nice that the information is there.
