The Echo Pop has a semi-spherical design and is available in classic black and white colors and more vibrant purple and green options. The device features a 1.95-inch front-firing directional speaker, claimed to deliver a balanced sound output, and supports lossless high-definition audio.
Amazon emphasizes user privacy, thus providing options to disable the mic and customize various Alexa privacy settings. The Echo Pop is powered by the AZ2 Neural Edge processor, the same found in India’s recently introduced Echo Dot 5th Generation. It shares similar features and specifications, but for a slightly higher price, it offers an integrated temperature sensor and tap gesture controls.
With built-in Alexa, users can ask the smart speaker to play music from Amazon Prime Music, Hungama, Spotify, JioSaavan, or even Apple Music. The Echo Pop can also pair with phones via Bluetooth to play music from downloaded streaming apps. Alexa supports both Hindi and English languages. Besides playing your favorite songs, it can also provide weather updates, set reminders, and perform other tasks.
