India’s largest telecom provider Bharti Airtel is trying hard to retain its customers. Airtel’s recent initiative Airtel Payments Bank has received a massive response across the country. Essentially, the idea is an attempt to knock its huge user base in partnership with Kotak Mahindra.

Airtel is also offering few more benefits like banking points for each rupee customers deposits into the Payments Bank, 7.25 percent interest rate, accidental insurance, and several merchants’ offers if you choose the payment option as Airtel Payments Bank.

The company’s standalone app which manages all your stuff of your Airtel number has now got a new update. This new update incorporates their Payments Bank directly into the app itself. A customer can register themselves into the Airtel Payments bank with this. However, they have to visit the nearest Airtel store open a Savings account to get the process done.

Also, the service provider is offering an online virtual card for its registered users of the Airtel Payments Bank system. This virtual card allows the users to pay any online merchants. Besides that, it also allows to recharge directly from the Payments Bank itself with many offers available exclusively for it users.

UPI to be available offline to make digital payments

The Airtel Payments Bank provides a quick access from the home screen with just a swipe. And after that, you have an option providing your card details. Airtel lists all the offers of Airtel Payments Bank in the app itself, just like Jio Money app. Airtel is trying to make it easier to experience their new Payments Bank service with this move.
