Wired broadband internet services with a speed of 1 Gbps, the ACT Fibernet has launched in the country and implementing first in the Nizams city Hyderabad.

The 1 Gbps plan will be available for the retail customers, if they pay initially Rs. 5999 per month in Hyderabad. They will get a FUP of 1 TB. The ACT is planning to extend the same service to the 11 cities, which already has this Fibernet. On Wednesday, it was officially launched by Telangana IT Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao. It is the first ISP across the country, to give giga throughout the city in India.

Addressing the gathering, CEO, ACT Fibernet Bala Malladi said that this country is one of the few around the world, to give broadband speed for 1 Gbps. “Initially, high speed connections are only available few enterprise customers, but now we made it available to each and every individual. With this, we will be providing high speed within 72 to 90 hours of application.”

From downloads to transferring date from a USB drive, everything is easy with this high speed internet. The people can download a minimum of 10 HD films at the same time in less than 10 minutes.
