The latest edition of the operating system features some exciting features which include virtual digital assistant Cortana and Internet Explorer revamped as Microsoft Edge. With the inclusion of such interesting features and a substantial boost to speed and performance could be the reasons for the fast adoption of Windows 10.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that Windows 10 had reached 270 million users at company’s annual developer conference Build 2016 event on 31st March 2016.Now according to an official blog release of Windows the number had jumped to 300 million.

The Redmond-based major software company has not made any changes to the base codes. The company is very keen to reach their ultimate target of 1 billion Windows 10 devices within three years.

As announced earlier the free upgrade for Windows 7 & 8.1 users to Windows 10 would end on 29th July and it will cost $119 for the same from the next day.
