Recently they have released UPSC Indian Forest Service’s Notification. Lakhs of people has applied for the exam. They conducted prelims examination in the month of August. Many applicants are qualified in the exam. Now they can attend for the mains exam.
The mains exam is conducted for six papers. Paper 1 is for general English for 300 marks. Paper 2 is conducted for general knowledge for 300 marks, paper 3, paper 4, paper 5, paper 6 is conducted for particular subjects.
The subjects which are given in the optional subjects are agriculture and agriculture engineering, agriculture and animal husbandry, agriculture and forestry, chemistry and chemical engineering, mathematics and statistics and engineering subjects. Selected applicants in prelims have to attempt all papers.

We request applicants to download UPSC IFS admit card 2016 from official website www.upsc.gov.in. You have to give your name, registration number or roll number to get your IFS Mains call letter. Please try to attend 20 minutes before examination. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are banned in the hall. Usage of scientific calculators is allowed in the exam according to the examination but programmable type calculators are not allowed in the examination.
