Govt of Telangana and Microsoft Signed a MoU for exploring Cloud and Mobile based Solutions

The Govt of Telangana on Thursday signed a MoU for with Microsoft India for developing cloud and mobile based solutions.

Attended by few biggies from Government and Microsoft India Private Limited managing director Anil Bhansali has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in between Govt of Telangana and Microsoft India. The MoU motto is to develop cloud, machine learning, and mobile based solutions.

Under the MoU, Government will take support from Microsoft to improve national services, education, healthcare and agriculture in the state. Microsoft can help the T - Government to explore cloud and mobile based solutions to develop citizen services.

Speaking to media, Microsoft MD Anil Bhansali said, “We are pleased to sign a MoU with Telangana Govt. And we will try our level best to help Govt of Telangana for better citizen connect. We have experimented with a cloud, machine learning and mobile based solutions. That improves citizen services as well as hep students, farmers, and patients in India. “

Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Secretary, ITE&C, Govt of Telangana told that “Signing a MoU with Microsoft may bring many improvements in the state and we are confident about bringing in advanced solutions affecting to our initiatives under Digital Telangana Program.”

Telangana Government is collaborating and partnering with various companies to improve the state. It has set up an IoT-enabled service such as healthcare teleconsulting for isolated layouts and online marketplace cum support platform for farmers.

Anant Maheshwari to be the Next Microsoft India President

Anant Maheshwari ,President of Honeywell India will be the next person leading the Microsoft India. The current president Bhaskar Pramanik will be retiring in March 2017. Maheshwari is all set to join the software giant Microsoft on September 1, 2016, to take over as the next Microsoft India President, the operations and ensure smooth transfer of leadership from Bhaskar Pramanik.

Microsoft said in a statement that Maheshwari “will be responsible for all of Microsoft’s product, service, and support offerings across India and continuing the company’s transformation into the leading productivity and platform company for the mobile-first, cloud-first era”,

Maheshwari served in various leadership roles in Honeywell for 12 years. Before honey well he was associated with McKinsey & Co for six years where he worked with clients from multiple sectors including telecom, IT and e-commerce, private equity, engineering equipment, automotive, steel, and pharmaceuticals.

At Honeywell a fortune 100 company he was responsible for operations in the fields of Automation and Control Solutions (ACS), Aerospace, and performance materials and technologies (PMT) in India.
